Do you know what phones it is compatible with0

just watch out for phones - my Nokia 3230 takes xD but not SD.
I believe XD cards fit in SD slots but not vice versa....0 -
I;ve (just) got a new Audi with DVD Satnav which takes 2x SDRAM cards for MP3 - would these be OK? [ And can someone suggest a card reader/writer for XP] ?
TIA0 -
I have an Audi A3 with the same kind of Sat/Nav DVD.
What you need is a MMC CARD and not a SD card as it will not fit. Look on Ebay for a 1GB MMC CARD or alternatively take it out off your Nokia 6230/6230i mobile phone if you have one that is.
For the memory card reader, any will do. Most will work with XP and they are very cheap nowadays. Expect to pay £10 max. And for a 1Gb MMC card £30 max.
Ay further questions email me on imranb85@hotmail.com
With regards

Not a lot of mobiles take SD cards, the new Nokia range take reduced size duel voltage MMC (N70, etc) earlier ones (6230, etc) took MMC, SD is slight wider and will not fit in the phones.
The Nokia 3230 takes a RS DV MMC and not XD which is a totally different card.Welcome, rogerramjet.

SD cards are mainly used with PDA's and the XDA type of phone.
Off the top of my head I cannot actually think of a "normal" make of phone that uses them.
Good buy for my M5000 though :-)0 -

Should be ok, however; there is a possibility your camera may not recognise the full size of the card...best to do a search of the camera's specificationsWelcome, rogerramjet.
