Plan Bee-Free wild flower seeds

With all the concerns about the loss of the Bee population over the past few years,and the importance of what they do pollinating plants The Co-operative and Somerfield in conjunction with The Sun are giving away free a pack of wild flower seeds this Friday 9th April to anyone that buys a copy of The Sun Newspaper and cuts the voucher out, in any of their shops hoping that people will take the time to sow the seeds and help to increase the bee population this summer.

took my voucher into my local co op and all they said was 'we dont sell seeds in here so I dont know why it says free seeds on the coupon as we dont have any'

Apologies for that Sarah,I would go back in again as each store had a box delivered,specifically for this,probably a case of communication not good enough in that store and someone will find it tomorrow and say what are these for.In my local store they are now giving the remaining packs away to co-op members.If you want to send me a pm I will pop in tomorrow and if there are any remaining I would be happy to post you a pack or two.http://www.co-operative.coop/ethicsinaction/takeaction/planbee/news/wildflower-seed-giveaway/

This is always a problem with these promotions if you go into a store which isn't owned by the Co-operative Group. For example, my local store is owned by Southern Co-operatives (completely separate company) but trades as Co-operative Food (same branding, you wouldn't know the difference from the outside). They never seem to have any of the freebies in stock as apparently "they aren't sent any".
