CSA - Legal Action

I have today received a letter from CSA, stating that they will be commencing "legal action" against me if i do not forward £250.13 within next 7 days.
This is apparently for arrears owed from approx 4 years ago, when i had finished paying my monthly payments to CSA. My Daughter is now 22 yrs old !
The letter makes threats of their intention to apply to magistrates Court
for a liability order, to recover the debt.
This is the first ive heard from them, since payments ceased.
The letter comes across as quite threatening to me.
I was under the old system initially ( via the courts), and payments could have stopped as soon as my Daughter reached 17. However I continued until she left full time Education.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated thank you.

I have no idea whether you owe any arrears or not, but if there are arrears owed, the CSA can pursue you regardless of your daughter's age.0

CSA arrears letters are always like that
ask them for a full account breakdown and you will see where the arrears (if there are any) came from0 -
They can go to teh Mag Court and get the LO and there is not much you can do about that, however if they then want to take it further they then have to prove the debt and the Courts are takeing a harder view of the actions of the CSA/C-MEC on guid lines from the High Court!!!0

Im an NRP and in all fairness to the CSA if you owe money they should be doing all they can to retrive that money! When dealing with the CSA its important to note that it is commonly accepted as unfit for purpose, and by default this also means the staff are unfit for purpose.0

At a meeting today with the CSA Enforcment team that are trying to take money from my partner an NRPP, my MP has taken them to task on the 2 year steer. They made a number of alligations against my MP who hit teh roof!!!
Upshot is that after the election if he is returned and they then take me to Court, he will give evidence that the CSA are acting out side the wishes of Parliment in this matter. He as well as the head of the CAB locally both told them that the offer that was on the table was a very good offer and should be accepted!
My partner was there and as she is on medication for the strees that teh CSA are causing and it is accepted by her doctor that this may cause her to take her own life. This was put to the CSA and they did not want to take the question, and said you can't ask me that question, it was then pushed and they have gone away to lick their wounds, think about it and try again.0
