    It's his personal responsibility to resolve it .... despite the fact thousands of incorrect Codes have been issued. Nothing his employer can do - other than to operate the Code provided.
    If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !

    we sorted it finally, despite been on hold for ages and ages AND losing £50 this weeks pay from tax and N.I, despite it only been a £200 wage...

    You will get the overpaid tax back on the first wage where the correct code is applied. The NI (which would be about £10) is correct and should have been deducted. So once this is sorted out, expect about £25 back for each week the incorrect code was used.

    £200 less PA £124 = £76 taxable @ 20% = £15.20 tax due each week.
