Today I have spent....

Ok, so the usual 'what have you spent today' thread seems not to have been started yet, and it's nearly bedtime! So I propose a change of style. We've recently been talking about having one thread which just carries over each day to save some space on the board, so perhaps this could be it? I'll start it off, and if you think it's a good idea please post on it.
Today I spent 75p on postage, but found 20p on the canal towpath this afternoon. How about you?

Today nothing - had to wait in for a delivery.....
Actually I've just realised that is completely untrue. Eeeeek! I took delivery of a Sky + box and realised that I need cables and a LNB to install it so spent £30 *blush* on Ebay.

Thats exactly why I need a spending diary :o:o:o:o

Nothing, until DS and his friends looked at me with puppy dog eyes, and i had chocolate craving, so ended up all of us going to shops spent £3 on treats for the children, but since becoming a DFW DS barely gets these surprise treats and it was £3 spent on 5 children who were beaming for hours!

£0.23 on a stamp to enter a Readers Digest competition :o
£1.15 on a bottle of diet coke and a double decker :o:o
£10 towards our dinner tonight....of an indian take away :o:o:o

Oh dear.......here's hoping for a better day tomorrow!

On a happier note: I found 10p - whoop-di-doo! I also received in the post a free dvd from my friend in Holland who has sent me a comedy he says is really good....so that's tomorrow night's entertainment sorted! :T

Spent a couple of quid on posting two books. (I'll get £3 back from one though through selling on www.greenmetropolis.com and the other was a swap on www.readitswapit.com which I'll sell or swap once I've read it.) :o

Also spent £2 on straw for the rabbit but picked up a big bag of wood shavings for free from the local joiner so not bad going.

I spent £0.90 bus-fare coz my shopping was too heavy to carry back to the flat.
£9.86 in Iceland (but got loads of BOGOF's)
And I halved O/H (£3) for a decent bottle of wine for tonight.

And it was quite strong...............Hiccupp!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
