Just bought my first MP3 (welcome to the 21st century Rach!!!!)
But i have no idea where to get songs to put on it.
Don't have that many CDs and i want to use MP3 when exercising so songs would need to be more upbeat than what I have at mo.
I don't want to pay a fortune or google a spam site, so any advise for this out of date MP3'er would be much appreciated.
thanks0 -
Try looking here ! There's a really long free MP3 music thread (about six threads down) - start there with the newest and work back - AMazon have free albums every month - see also Noisetrade (not very dance....)0

Of course you should also use MSE's very own TuneChecker, which will tell you the cheapest place to buy the MP3 from out of the main sellers, as well as CDs.
There's a link on the right hand side of the webpage ->0 -
I tend to buy a lot of music from Amazon, but I only buy MP3's if the price is right. Sometimes the CD is not much dearer than the MP3, in which case I will buy the CD and then rip it to Itunes.
Also now, when you buy CD's from Amazon, with a lot of them you get a free MP3 version of the same album, which saves you the hassle of having to rip it. You can listen to it in the Amazon cloud player or download to your computer straight away and transfer to your device, even before the disc arrives in the post. Yet you still have the flexibility of having the cd version of it for back up and if you want it for listening to in the car, for example.
7 digital are very good, I've used them in the past and I also use Itunes occasionally, as I have an ipod, but it depends on the price, which is where the tune checker comes in, mentioned above.Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.670 -
