Northern Rock Together Mortgage - Remortgaging experiences.

Hi there,
I am a Northern Rock Together Mortgage Customer and after 3 years we have just transferred onto the standard variable rate. However I am keen to start preparing to fix again and I wondered if anyone has had any positive experiences with other companies?

I am planning to see a couple of financial advisors but it would be interesting to hear how others have tackled this. Our mortgage is split 95k secured 20K unsecured.

I now wish we had never taken out this type of mortage but hindsight is a wonderful thing. We currently don't have any equity in the house - although we could prob sell for the price we paid. We are happy in the house for another few years so just a mortgage deal to give us some security would be fab. I look forward to hearing from others :o
