My Oh is a good un for grabbing bargains but sometimes he doesnt think it through! He came back from the Co op last night with 2 tubs of cream cheese (one with chives one with garlic) reduced to 20p a tub. He thought he had done well as we go through tons of this stuff...until I pointed out to him that the use by date is today! Bless him his hearts in the right place really lol

I hate to throw anything out, so am wondering if its ok to freeze it? If not is there anything I can do with it that would make it freezer friendly? We love it but I doubt we would eat 2 full tubs by the end of today. Sorry its probably a really silly question!

TIA x
