Hello, i need a little help, this is my first post, so please be gentle!

I have been working at my recent company for 4 years , and for the last 4 months they havent paid us properly! Its usually late , so we get bank charges, even though they give us the charge money back, we have to wait another month to get that back , and its destroying my credit rating ( i think )

This month just gone , they told us the day before we were to be paid that we werent getting it, then they said we would get half now, half after the bank holiday , to which we did receive half last week, but are still waiting on the other half?!

Is there anything at all we can do to stop this??? Apart from leave

Do you have a written contract? This should state when you will be paid.

I think I would ring ACAS for advice, whether or not you have a contract. (If you don't have a written statement of your main conditions, this in itself is illegal, and does not imply you shouldn't be paid regularly and reliably!)

thanks for the reply jobbing , we do all have written contracts , and it states we get paid on the last day of every month!

Will try ACAS and see if they can help!
