A&L SVR Mortgage Customer

Hi All,

I came out of an A&L fixed rate repayment mortgage deal at the bottom of the market which although was sort of good news for me at the time (my first SVR monthly repayment endedup being about £30 cheaper) I'm now in a position where I don't think I have enough equity in the house (going off the Nationwide house price calculator, I've been tracking my house price and based on the new Q1 2010 figures, my LTV is around 88%.) to qualify for any other deals and so am stuck on their SVR at 5.34%.

This still seems pretty high compared to what I've seen advertised elsewhere, I've literally only just started looking into this again and do intend to start phoning around when I get some time (work really busy) but was wondering if anyone had any opinion on whether I'll have any luck finding a fixed repayment deal to compete with 5.34% with my LTV?

As I said I've only just started, so am looking for the "I've seen deals like that from x, y or z", or "you've got to be kidding" type responses! =)
