Morning All,
Sorry but haven't been focused on MSE things lately, as have been absorbed in aspiring to being a future midwife and reading loads relevant books on subject.
Also had a major dent to £10k challenge, OH's car is sounding v poorly
and as its over 10 years old we have decided not to throw anymore money at it, and instead take a 0% credit card out and buy a NEW, yes NEW:eek: car. Fiat Panda is on offer at £5,995 so it will be perfect for him for next 6 years+.
So have to get back on track and be really frugal from now on.
Today I plan/hope to:
Hang all washing out to line dry
Check online banking
Work out finances for April
Work out finances properly incorporating new credit card payments!
Find cheap but sturdy book/display case for DS1's bedroom
Check out computer desks/office areas for home study area as things are such a mess at moment - and keep missing letters, notices etc.
Order trampoline for birthday pressie - joint pressie for all 3 DSs
Send forms off to OU
Nice walk at local National Trust for boys and dog - FREE
Put clean laundry away
Put dent in ironing mountain
Get OH to bank cheque for me whilst he's near to my bank
OH to take DS2 to have passport photo done
Make scrummy veggie roast for boys & me today
Make cake - fruit or carrot? hmm
Either make den or do sticking/making with boys
NOT go spare with 3 boistrous boys.
Look forward to nice meal with boys and glass of wine once all in bed!
Best get on with things:pJan GC £267.47/280, Fuel:£40.60/£40; Cafes: £28.35!!/£20, NSD: ?/20
Walk /10miles/week,
LBM £14,000  01/02/18. Loan: £14960.40/4 years

- Checked banks - all ok surprisingly
- Did a budget spreadsheet update last night
- Try and keep the heating off
- Try on a dress I bought for a wedding last year to see if its ok for a christening - will save buying a new one and its different people so they won't know!

Goooood morning everyone:wave::wave::wave:
That's me back home after the weekend at my Mum's - had a nice, relaxing time but ready to crack on with my own housework, sorting etc;)
Good news for me - after my first week back on WW I've lost 3lb:beer:. I haven't got a huge amount to lose, just starting to feel rather tubby round the middle and dreading Spring clothes, so have done something about it:D Another 11lb off and I'll be perfectly happy!
Nothing much esle going on - I'm impressed with some of these lists going on here....you lot are all madly busy, I must keep up
Fay - i might be asking for your help soon....DD2 and I want to plant things, but I never know when we need to do it - last year we did tomatoes but they never appeared...think we planted too late:p It does all need to be rather simple too!
OK, list time:- check banking - HB went in, thank god, was worried yesterday when it didn't appear. Quidco £83 received too:T so some moved to girls club/trip money account, some to my savings.
- daily scratch - 10p
- washing is on

- hopefully get washing on the line - but no sun

- meal from plan tonight - chicken pasta bake for girls, probably stuffed pasta and 0point sauce for me
- enjoy my post weigh in treat - a creme egg:T
- hoover/dust through
- relist some bits on ebay
- wrap and post ebay sale from yesterday
- arrange for catalogue courier to pick up parcel
- clear dining table and make it inviting for me to study at
- Uni work - decide what needs to be done (lots?!)

- maybe take a few bits of junk to the tip - DD2 thinks it's great fun going there
- watch Masterchef final on my backside with my creme egg

I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Wow Millyscarlett - am impressed by your weight loss, excessive list, and fab smilies!

HUGE exciting lists going on here - my own seems a little pale in comparison (although I have to say I'm not putting my entire list on here or I'd be here all day, just putting stuff about money saving on here!)
So here goes... today I have...
* walked to shop and bought 4 ltrs of milk for £2
and I will...
* wrap and post friend's son's hand made birthday present
* make and post uncle's birthday present
* visit friend at her house for a Nice Cup of Tea
* admire cheery stripey home made tea cosy I gave her yesterday (that I knitted from spare wool - yey!)
* voluntary work
* SW later (already paid for)
* check online bank
* buy value weeeeeetabix and some other bits and pieces
Think that's it!

:)Good Morning All (with five minutes to spare as it's 11.55am!)
Today I have
Written a detailed letter to the manager of my HSBC bank regarding the problems I have had setting up my payment plan for my loan arrears
Sorted out my Avon orders that arrived yesterday (22.00 commission:j)
Took mince out of freezer for pasta bolegnese for tea tonight:)
Today i will
Go and hand in my letter to HSBC (go me the brave DFW!)
Distribute my customer's Avon orders
Hoover the house from top to bottom
Put the washing away and add to ironing pile for OH to do. Yes I have a man who irons:j:j
Make pasta bolegnese for tea (yum yum can't wait)
Buy b'day present for my mum - 10.00 quid budgetProcastination is the thief of time!:eek:0 -
Hi everyone
Quick list from me today:- Lunch from home
- Buy some quick-cook pasta to make lunches for the next 2 days and use up some vegetables and sauce that will be chucked otherwise (may already be too far gone but I'll see what I can russle up).
- Read mse email
- Charge phone at work
- Update spending diary
- Withdraw my last £50 'pocket money' and aim to not spend it all before the end of the month - going to the coffee shop today and then eating out tonight but staying in for the next 3 weekends and don't 'need' anything so it should be doable. Plus, am due money back from 2 yoga classes that I didn't go to in March so yoga will be half price this month.
- PAD to cc

Hope everyone is having a good day.
La xx
