I am a first time buyer and recently had an offer accepted on a property .
I have been looking into my options in terms of mortgage financing and have noticed that ING Direct offer some pretty attractive rates for my circumstances i.e. 75% loan to value and looking at 2 year fixed rate products
has anyone got any feedback they could share with me as to ING Direct as a mortgage provider? interested to hear any feedback regarding time taken to process application, quality of customer service etc..

Can anyone give me any feeback on ING direct as a mortgage provider. I am shopping around to remortgage at the moment and they have a very good fixed rate at 3.04% for 2 years which then reverts to their SVR which is currently 3.5% It also has a £945 booking fee and free valuation and conveyancing service.0

I selected their LifeTime Tracker product in October last year - no ERC - as we were planning to move this year.
I found them 1st class at dealing with my remortgage - excellent. No complaints whatsoever. Great service.
Roll the clocks forward 6 mths. I'm now moving home. Wanted to discuss with them porting my current product to my new home. Spent 70 mins on hold waiting to speak to someone and was then told I'd failed security checks (their online system had a technical fault when I'd tried to log in and it had blocked me). It would then be another few days before they could send out a new password and then I'd have to call them again to sort out a new log in and then - eventually - they may be able to answer my question.
Personally, I don't have time to do this. I went with the Post Office instead - they were fantastic.0 -
No problems here with my Ing mortgage, I would go with them again in future.Herman - MP for all!0
