Reference from employee

Apparently our mortgage company have written to our employees for a reference.

What exactly are they asking for? I'm not bothered just wondered.

Never heard of employees giving a reference for their employers before. Is it like that thing where schoolkids get to interview the teachers to see whether they are suitable?
  • its probably to confirm that you work there and how long you have been an employee, thats all.
employees cant give too much information and usually have a standard letter confirming you work there thats all.. nothing to worry about.
prob a result of self cert mortgages and falsified applications causing lenders problems in the past
Thanks to all who post here:beer:
