The place to buy a flatscreen tv

ks318

John Lewis is the best place to buy a flatscreen t.v. as they give a 5 year guarantee worth in the region of £500 and i wouldnt want to buy one of these t.v.s without a good warranty. The trouble is that despite their slogon they are not the cheapest, however there is a way around this and it is well worth spending a little time to work the process. I have just bought a 42 inch Panasonic 600 Plasma which is a new model, i found a web site called avforums.com where i found the information about where John Lewis will price match internet prices. The criteria JL use is that they will only price match internet sites if they have a real shop and stock on the floor. These acceptable internet price match sources change regularly so check for the latest postings on avforums.com, anyway John Lewis wanted £2350 for the t.v. and i found it at empiredirect.co.uk at £1750, so i printed out the price and went in to the store and asked them to complete an undersale request, this takes a couple of days for them to do their research and they will call you back to accept or decline the quote. They rang me to say they have accepted the quote and i saved £600 plus £500 warranty, and as i collected it from my local JL store i saved the £75 delivery charge. With a total saving of £1,175 please take the time to try this as i know it works and i have done it twice this year, if at first they decline the quote keep trying. Happy Shopping!
