A good idea, but the OP needs to know that recordings made at grievance hearings are not admissable at an employment tribunal, should it go that far.

They have been allowed (confirmed by an appeal). Look at XXXXX v Amwell School for an example!

LOL, calm down! This was advice I received from ACAS. You are disputing everthing ACAS has told me in more than one post, so in future I think I'll take your number and call you for advice - I am assuming you are qualified?0 -

I can't comment on what a individual ACAS advisor may have told you about your particular set of circumstances.
The case I refer to is well know in respect of the tape recording issue.
Equally I was not disputing what they may have told you in your previous post. What I said was "Obviously I don't know the details of your case and this may well have been good advice for you. However, as you phrase it here, this is a sweeping generalisation." - which is quite different.
On the specific tape recording point (if it is still relevant to your case) I would suggest you go back to them and ask for clarification in case there has been a misunderstanding.0 -
i am really hoping this wont end up at a ET just because of the stress this grievance is giving me, could not cope at a tribunal
so basicallly this time round i cannot take anyone

so how do i alone go in and not cry or walk out and still get through all the points in the grievance?

I wonder if you are overlooking something here
My suggestion would be to ask what the current employee did wrong and ask if he ammends this behaviour if he can still attend.
Remember this person is not a representative and should do nothing above observe and take notes. If this person went into "argue" your case this is were you went wrong
Also be aware of unions. I am not a big fan as often reps are simply playing their own agenda with someone elses job and well being as to avoid doing it in their own name.0 -

hi DVD it was another of my employers i took, because of the problems i am having getting anyone to come with me thats suitable.
so this employer is nothing to do with cleaning and is as unbiased and impartial as i could get
he said nothing except his name and how he was 'related' to me and he took notes. thats it
and then the whole thing is cancelled to be rearranged soon.
fair enough that the area supervisor felt intimidated and nothing is yet resolved, so be it
but i cannot go back on my own,
i cannot force other staff to go with me, and
i am not a union member
its a predicament63 mortgage payments to go.

he is a big fella, i aint in the least intimidated by him, he about as scary as a bowl of ice cream,
but when i am stuck in the same room and she says we have to finish and you can come back tomorrow with someone more suitable as this man is making me feel uncomfortable and he is intimidating me, i can hardly insist that we stay and continue
i really believe that they are trying to get me on my own so they too can bully me into dropping the whole thing.
i would just love to go and make my points and leave i dont need this carp and i should not be made to feel bad (not by anyone on here) and feel intimidated myself.
