Personally I would stick with weekly shopping but I suppose it depends on how disciplined you are if popping in daily.0

We have just started doing a monthly shop at ASDA, we have it delivered, so stock up on heavy stuff, tins and bottles etc then just top up from market etc for fresh stuff when needed0

Im trying to bring foodbill down further as convinced could be reduced.
we do bulk of shopping in big sainsburys as we collect nectar points and its close.
We only buy essentials, own brand, basics and whats on offer so crisps buy hubby varies, same with biscuits.
We also do lidls once a month too as cheap for canned goods, pulluppants super cheap and fruit and veg.
We have large co-op nearby which is quite expensive I only buy special offers or reduced which is much more generous than sainsburys.
We have tried other retailers find large tesco too big and not that cheap. The metro bit limited but is ok for speacial offers.
we stopped at Iceland few years ago as used to work for them and when they rounded up prices to 1quid everything got smaller in szie only good value things is milk and odd item of frozen but like to cook fresh and everyday essentials very pricey in there.
Like aldis not sure if its more expensive than lidls but its bit out way.
rarly go adsa went other day got few good bargains is it worth visiting them more often , havent shopped there in years as not one near us but my old one alwasy had tonnes reduced.
Ours is large very busy.
Morrisions is nearby really not keen on fruit and veg but tehy have good frozen, grocery deals.
Meat, fish counter seem good, prepacked meat and poultry plus chilled I find quite poor range.
Not used my supermarket site but would if had to buy anything brand name quite high value.
we usually shop the ends and buy whats on offer, rummage through reductions and try and buy own brands.
we also have mbile butchers once a week that might buy some meat off but like to get free range or freedom poultry which bumps bill up a bit.
Large monthly shop not working for us so wondering 1-2 weekly shops at different retailers might be worth a try.
Going to aim to take homemade a step further and do more breads, cakes and biscuits.
Plus make strawberry/blackberry jam, homemade ketchups and chutneys.
I like to go shop bbq when it rains as reduced then stash in freezer along with reduced rolls as find on hot days often retailer taken off guard and sold out.
We growing lots of veg but wont be ready until august/sept and we go farm to pick strawberries and local hedgerows for blackberries so might make and freeze few crumbles and pies.pad by xmas2010 £14,636.65/£20,000::beer:

Depends how much time i have and what else I am doing. I mainly use sainsburys for convenience but I also use a small tesco nearby and a co-op next to where I work. If i have to go to town I will try Asda. Rarely use Morrisons, dont like them for some reason!
If I am near Lidl or Aldi i will pop in but the queues can be very offputtingEllie

I get a delivery from tescos once a month, then buy bread, milk and fruit & veg at the farm shop near me. I occaisinally buy stuff at the co-op in the next village, but its too expensive to buy much from there.0

Far worse shopping with OH than with kids in my opinion - and that's saying something!!!
Go with buggy, get some exercise, and the fact you are walking restricts what you can buy?
How about online shopping fortnightly/monthly for all the heavy stuff?0 -
I'm in Tesco several times a week...after work, weekends, you name it. It's easy to get carried away because I live and work so close to it. Reducing food waste is not one of my strong points!0
