I wanna buy my mum a washing machine

My mum's washing machine has broken and I want to buy her a new one.
I am hoping to get her one for around £250, although I will pay more if it is a lot better than the rest! Ideally I would like one that takes at least a 6kg load and has at least a 1400rpm spin speed.
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated

I like Zanussi - I have one (1200rpm) that's coming up on 7 years old, has done around 8-10 washes every week, and is still going strong. My mum has the same model, but 1400rpm, and about 6 months older, and that's also still working perfectly. I have to say, there's no noticeable difference between them with regard to the extra rpm, so spending more for the 1400 may be a bit of a false economy, unless you have a specific need for it.
My model (FJR1254) is now discontinued, but looking on Kelkoo, there are a couple of models that fit your requirements.DFW Nerd no. 884 - Proud to [strike]be dealing with[/strike] have dealt with my debts0 -

after some long searching a few weeks ago, these were the cheapest. they had a beko 1600 rpm 6kg for £150 its at £217 now. Delivered on time, (actually it was 6.45am!), contacted about the time and date, they can take away the old one, rubbish taken. Free delivery if you sign up for Which magazine, which you can cancel.
