Nationwide overpayment

Anyone know how easy it is to make over payments with Nationwide. I do my banking online, but can't see any way of making point and click over payments!

anyone know of a mortgage provider that does?

I have a meeting with a financial advisor this evening and have a base line of:

Good Fixed interest rate for 5 or 10 yrs
Ability to make overpayments (paying my mortgage is going to replace putting money in savings!)

Anyone think of anything else?

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Go to NW online banking
    Select account to pay from
Go "Payments and Transfers" on left
On new screen stay on "Pay Bill or Transfer Money" Tab
In the "To" drop down, under [Your own accounts], select your "Mortgage"
    Enter Amount to pay
    Enter date
    click Next

If you Mortgage is not listed then you need to get it added - email customer service
    That's Numberwang!

The procedure described by morganb is fine if your bank account is also with Nationwide, which mine isn't. I set up a standing order from my current account (A&L), and this works fine for a regular overpayment. If you want to do it occasionally, most online accounts allow you to add accounts to an "address book" and make a payment to it when you want.

Can't believe it was there all the time! Now made my first (small) overpayment to try it out ;) I'd searched thier help and everything - suppose its not in thier interest to make it blindingly obvious! Though once you know its there it is pretty obvious (head slapping moment!)

    @marksward.
The Nationwide is a mutual building society. Why would they make something more difficult, againsts their members interests . Can you see your mortgage balance online ? It might take two working days for the money to show up on the online mortgage screen. Mine often shows up in one day. Their online banking is very good and fast.
If you want something from them then ask them. If they say there is no demand then start a discussion relating to it on this site.

Yes I can see the mortgage balance online. I was being tongue-in-cheek! It wouldn't be in their interest to put a 'click here to overpay your mortgage' link everywhere in the online banking site;)

As I said once you know how to do it its dead obvious. But I couldn't find anyinth in the online help. Bizarely I'd set up other payments and never seen the option to pay to mortgage, though its been there all the time!
