ive jsut had one of there rep's on the phone
i was able to up my payments to my creditors from the 1st of june so i requested a review from the CCCS, anyway MBNA were thrilled as it almost doubled their payments
well the 1st of july i had some financial problems not as much in pay due to sickness not being paid etc, anyway they paid them £6.98 less now bearing in mind i have 13 creditors none of which have complained at all only MBNA of whom i owe a lot less than other creditor too
anyway they have rung me last week to collect this £6.98 i said i was unable to talk as i was on my way out they told me if i did not pay monday (gone) by 4 pm my account would default (have they seen my credit rating!) so i said it was a chance i would take
anyway she rang me just to collect this money 5 days later 5 days after my deadline asking for this money or they would send it to a collection agency, i explained what i have to you and she said it could result in a charge being put on my house to which i replied if they have to tale me to court over £6.98 to put a charge on my house then great i would be happy to satnd infront of a judge and show him i can not pay this £6.98 not wont but cant! i also stated that her tone and manner was becoming threatning and if she had any further issues she could put them in writing and il forward them onto the CCCS
honestly!

I'm having similar problems with MBNA,thought our offer had been accepted, interest had been stopped. We have suddenly started getting letters 'warning about a default notice' and charges on our house also taking money directly from hubby's wages  what right have they to threaten this action without actually issuing a default notice
please MBNA if you are reading this, issue one then things can get sorted, our credit rating is zero so another default won't make any difference
What is it with MBNA
why are they such ars*****s
