If you can get security clearance (CRB check)then try a local children's nursery. We ALWAYS needed people for the afternoon shifts, either to supervise the children, play with them, or for admin, cleaning or working in the kitchen.
You don't necessarily need any qualifications to start with, most nurseries provide them, and believe it or not, men are more than welcomed to the nursery, so everyone's a winner!

I'm already CRB checked as i work in a school in the mornings, how would i find out if my local nursery needs anyone? What is the setup cost for betterware and how do i find out if anyone else is doing it locally, what sort of money can you make?DEBT FREE and not looking backTouring Caravan owner - my home from home

Just go into the nursery and ask if they need any help. There's usually an administrator there, or look in the local paper. If you already have a CRB check then it will save them about £70, so they're more likely to take you on (Although they should do another one of their own) and if you've experience with a school already and have children of your own (I'm presuming?) then it's all great experience in your favour. Expect to earn about minimum wage or a bit more.
Alternatively, talk to your local Children's Centre (look in Yellow Pages or your local government website) as they often need someone to help with the mother and baby groups etc.
Other local groups at the community centres often need someone for just a few afternoons in the centre to help out with Help The Aged groups etc, so try there too.
Hope that helps!0 -
can you ask at the school if there is any additional work - I.e Teaching assistant, breakfast club manager, after school clubs?
No set up costs with Betterware at all - it takes about 90 mins or so to put the books out - you collect them 2 days later and then send the orders off - the goods get delivered to you - you take to customers and keep 20%. not going to make millions but will keep your head above water and free exercise, toning up legs and bottom xxO/S Debt: PL £[STRIKE]15207.34[/STRIKE] £9884.55; HSBC £4060.99; Tesco£1430.15; M&S £5990.17; Virgin [STRIKE]£5158.69[/STRIKE] £4210.14; Egg £4619.00; O/S = ££30,292.42 AIM - To Be Debt Free 56 months0 -

I found my part time afternoon at home job there. I do work in a virtual call centre, but it is very nice work and pretty stress free. Not customer services or selling.0 -
I found work at http://www.workingjobsfromhome.co.uk they have direct selling vacancies and jobs from home.0
