Why you not at your course???
  • I tried! I'm now £75 worse off and they expect me to go again tomorrow.

    "Organization problem" was their excuse...Hmm.

    Uh .... no course then?
  • Well, they said they could refund half the taxi cost if I took a medical letter, so I did. Got to where they sent us, and there was a big group of us waiting. They were supposed to meet us at 9.30, but had said to be there 25 minutes early, to check in. The reception staff were a little confused but let us in, and then twenty minutes later came and put a phone on speakerphone, and a man told us there had been a problem. He recommended we went to get lunch and waited...it was only 9.30ish though so far too early for lunch. Some people left, the rest of us stayed. Then they rang again and moved us from there to across town, which was another £10 in a taxi each, and no one was there either. Eventually he said there had been an organization problem and they will try to fix it before tomorrow, recommended we all swapped business cards and went home. I'd spent £60 on taxis for no reason by now, and reception said refunds were nothing to do with them, so I got the train back, got pushed over at the platform and have bruised all up my legs. It looks like I've been assualted...they are bright blue. OH came and helped me back, and I've got ice and a hot water bottle on them....what a day.

Tracey - where did you get the jeeps from? Are you using the right controllers for the right jeeps - are they on the same frequency?

    NLID - pm-ing you!

Yep-right controllers, tried one at a time so frequency should be ok-they arent that technical anyway-only basic toy ones. Bought them in a job lot before xmas with the other remote control cars, sold all of them so have got our money back but the jeeps are the profit , hopefully OH can fix them.

Have cut the grass so that my workout for today, i'm boiling hot now!

Also arranged with the company that i'm buying the M***** glue from to sell on Ebay so hopefully will be able to get some sales from there.

Awww Saucy what a horrible thing to happen, I hope you get your money sorted, what a shambles, hope you are ok from the fall. but-you did it, you went, its not your fault that things went tits up so you should be proud of yourself hun.xx
  • I'm really disappointed, it took me so long to psych myself up enough to go and now it just cost a lot for no reason.
Plus me and OH had new phones coming tomorrow, they were due Wednesday but they said they'd have none until Monday, but he'd let us know when he'd sent them to us, and we'd definately get them Tuesday. No email yet, and when I emailed him, he's out of office...

    What a day.
How's your day been so far? And where on earth do you go to buy 800 stamps?!

Post Office - they sell them in books of 100. Thank goodness they are self-adhesive these days, though!
