I can imagine it is very long indeed Munchki.
Will your son be around. just wondering about a cool bag/box just for tomorrow night then you can fridge hunt at the weekend. maybe your son could freeze some icepacks for you or just lots of ice cubes and put them in sandwich bags inside the cool bag. even frozen cartons of milk work well. you can get really cheap cool bags quite easily.

niki - no ebay wont think its funny you have raised 2 claims. This can be perfectly normal. my mum who buys a lot of crafting stock on ebay to resell in her shop regularly needs to make claims via ebay as sometimes items dont arrive. working on her average (was just on the phone) around 5 to 10 items of every 200 bought items dont always seem to arrive. Cosndering though she buy ten of thousands items a year its a small thing but sometimes thats just how it is). Before i had to put in 12 claims in space of 14 days (this was down to our postie who shall we say got sacked for being light fingered) - ebay did ask questions but once i made a complaint to royal mail and then they investiagted found the postie was taking around 100 items of packets a week) This made local newspapers up here which then i scanned and sent to ebay to stop them having any doubts about the cases i had opened. soryr for the long post but hope that helps

Hiya to all the fellow dribblers. Does anyone know when ebay may run another promo listing day? my feeling is come mayday bank holiday another one will come?

anyone on here use ebay a lot?

Quick question - listed an item on there and it sold. I clearly stated on my auction no collection (this was down to a problem before with buyer where police got called)

This person is now demanding to collect the item. Refusing to pay me now. Am i correct in thinking i dont have to offer local collection if i dont want to? i know this is probly a stupid question as i have been listing on ebay for many years but only had 1 collection before?

sorry forgot to add a bit to my question - the buyer in question recogns im trying to make money on posting item but considering i only use parcelmonkey and sending it 24 hr it comes up with VAT at £7.04. i have to bubblewrap the item in question as well so it doesnt get damaged and i have charged £7.25? does this sound unreasonable to anyone?

No, if you stated no collection then advise then send them an email letting them know that payment is due and that you will send it out once payment has cleared. If they don't pay then open a NPB. I think your P&P charges are reasonable. Don't argue with them as they might leave a neg, be polite and concise.

PM me if you need any help.
