We so have the same husband!! Mine has been draping himself across the furniture sighing and moaning and asking me to feel his forehead...two days ago it was actually the first thing he said on waking up! He's so noisy about being ill, if he'd take himself off to bed it wouldn't be so bad but he has to hang around downstairs and complain about the kids making too much noise! Gahhh... sorry, apparently I haven't quite ranted enough over the last weekdillidalli wrote: »A whole load better, although the husband is having death throes with his sore throat. He is doing an hilarious sick voice and is constantly asking me to feel his glands. lol as my boss used to say "I'm fine, how am I?" ***giggles***

my dad is the best when he is ill. he always gets a limp whatever is wrong and used to lie in bed and do that thing where you could get the phone to ring to check it was working. the person downstairs would pick up and so would he and say could you just come and change the cold cloth on my forehead or some such nonsense. once he'd even rung the doctor without us knowing who turned up on the doorstep and ran upstairs. came down saying well he has got flu but not as bad as he sounded on phone. dr had put his other calls on hold cos he thought my dad might be seriously ill!!“Don’t ask what the world needs.
