:rotfl: Just choked on a minstrel laughing at that and am getting odd looks from OH...just hope he doesn't ask what a Merkin is :rotfl:Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
Mabel - I was joking, I wouldn't really give Merkins to kids! You have gone all quiet. I am paranoidturn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 -I'm a wiggly worm, I'm a wiggly worm, how do you do, I love you, I'm wiggly worm!0

Phew - that has taken me all day to catch up - you lot sure have dribbled lots in the last 24 hours...
Party went well, not had chance to blog about it yet but will and then you will see some pics!!
Forget £10,000 today I have saved £75,000. :eek: Yep you read that right, £75k. :eek::rotfl: Well nearly anyway. By changing our mortgage to a lower interest rate, and paying the £5k penalty :eek: , we can carry on paying the same amount per month and reduce the term by 10years which will save us that much over sticking with original term. Not a bad days work!! Shame it ins't money in my pocket but better than paying it to the banks!Life is a work in progress0 -

Mabel - I am shocked at the potential saving! I'd recommend anyone to check they have the best mortgage available for them!!!!

Phew, glad you are still my friend Mabel!
Well done Nixi, ok, so you are not going to see the extra money for 10 years, but it will be lovely when you do! Oh, just think of all those holidays you can take, and the early retirement!turn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 -I'm a wiggly worm, I'm a wiggly worm, how do you do, I love you, I'm wiggly worm!0 -
Eek, my Eon bill came through and I'm £200 in debit. Not impressed!!0

It will even itself out over the year as you use less in the summer, don't worry, with the winter we have had, I am not suprised, mine is £186 in debit atm. But today has been glorious, the heating officially off for the year, barring any bad spells and the lights don't need to go anywhere near as early thanks to the clocks going forward.
Swapping is the other option, you get something like £200 off your bill and £80 cashback, would be like wiping the bill clear.turn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 -I'm a wiggly worm, I'm a wiggly worm, how do you do, I love you, I'm wiggly worm!0 -
Eon are the cheapest in our area atm.

Hi everyone - hope you're all ok. Paula - hope you've had a nice day and things are looking up for you?
Not been too great myself either. Not been well and am snowed under at work so not a great combination. I wondered if anyone had any ideas/ theories on creating time. I know it's a long shot but i know how well informed you all areI feel like i've never got enough time to do everything i have to do and it sends me into a bit of a panic. Any suggestions? Any time management experts out there?

Trust that little voice in your head that says "Wouldn't it be interesting if...";
And then do it.0
