Haha the price was too good to pass up on. Plus I started in June last year and decided I was starting earlier this year. Plus it gives me an excuse to play with all the baby toys and spend money in the sales :D

I hope you dont find this offensive, but is your site aimed at affiliate marketing or sales of your own products?

It is an easy line to cross and from my experience, websites end up losing out on potential revenue because you sent your visitors, which you want to stay on your website as long as possible to fal in love with your products to your competitors.

An affiliate site's primary aim is to get the click through to the merchant, whereas a sales driven websites primary goal is to get the user to enter there credit card info!

This is why I opted out of the commitments board. I had a great long to-do list for today, and apart from looking out fabric for Mabel and packaging it up, I have done none of it. Instead I have several washer loads on the line outside, have cleaned the bathroom and cloakroom, hand weeded 4 raised beds outside and sorted out a couple of tubs that my dwarf beans will be going in. All useful and necessary, but not what I was planning at all!

Have just realised that I've not eaten much today and when I get sudden bursts of enthusiasm like that it often means a migraine is on its way, so I need to keep my blood sugar decent to stave it off.

OK off to eat and then to find other stuff to do that isn't the stuff I'm meant to be doing!
  • I don't even know what I'm meant to be doing. I'm struggling to do anything, so I'd just make myself feel rubbish if I made a list of commitments and didn't get any of them done...
Although 'Finding Direction' sounds like something I need to do!

I'll stick with my aim of sorting out my website, if I can.
