Mambury - s0d him, my OH is the same, says I molly coddle them, but I would like them to live, preferably with all there limbs in tact! I may overdo it a bit, but they are only young once and if one of them got run over by a car/ pushed out of a tree/ thrown in a river then OHs the world over would blame you for not keeping an eye on them. Its a lose lose situation, so just smile and nod and do what makes you feel comfortable.

Paula - are you ok? Would you like to talk/vent/moan and cry? Would you like a Jaffa Cake? They make you better (well at least according to DD1 who has just given me 4 for my poorly cough!)

    Morning all,
I have decided that the theme tune to my life is insomnia by Faithless! I achieved a grand total of an hour and halfs kip. And I know what it is, I just can’t seem to switch my mind off at the mo. Not in a negative way it kind of feels like the ideas tap has gone in power mode and I need to find a way of stemming the flow a wee bit! Crazy cakes I tell ya! I am a bit wary of drinking coffee this morning I think I need to let my body tire itself out so I can get some real sleep tonight. But, a fry up; a big dirty fry up might be the perfect remedy – and a steaming mug of tea too!

NLID – you are top of my to do list, you are partially to blame for my sleep disorder lol – I spent the night dreaming of logos.

Moneymabel – don’t tell NLID but you are top of my to do list too… sshhhh it’s a secret… also double sided tape for merkins yikes! Super ouch…

Nixi – hope the party went well, had a marketing angle for you but I will PM.

Munchki - I am tempted to get your phone and serenade you with some song like please don’t go, or shakespeare’s sister stay. But, I understand – sometimes you just need a little change of scenery. Please don’t go to far away I will miss you x

Hales – Could you remove social bookmarking and interview from my commitments. Also a massive thanks hon for retweeting me that was really lovely of you!

Saucy – good news about the course x

Skintbint – I keep meaning to watch the business inspector… is it any good?

Wayne – the demo pic looks great… well done… the site has come together really well so give youself a really well earned pat on the back.

The only random thought that I had all is write into the mirror for business advice. If you can stand the idea of your face being plastered in a national newspaper; most of the people featured seem to do well out of it. I will post the details a bit later. Right now going to put some headphones on and beaver away! Roll on my holiday – I really need it now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S Has anyone heard from Babymoo, she hasn’t been around for a while an I was wondering how she is????

excuse the font size... it has gone a bit weird... gah!!!

Well i'm a bit better for the offer of jaffa cakes lol! Your little one sounds lovely :-) it's a very messed-up situation, you'd have to be very patient and open-minded lol! Plus i'd have to send you it later as i'll cry on the bus otherwise lol, on way to sealife centre again, getting our money's worth! Xx

I would be happy to try it out for you.

On a related note - re a teeny weeny glimmer of an idea - do you think there is any scope to offer a service of testing websites (probably small, self made ones)? You know, user testing. I have a bit of a background in doing this, but not commercially.

Or, is it just another one of my hair-brained ideas?

    xx

there would be a small niche for it, especially for companies like mine who are always crying out for feedback, however we would usually find the costs to be quite prohibitive due to the nature of our clients being small and coming to us for the "cheap" websites

  • Morning Dilli, so need to get out more, you lot are warping myu sense of normality, after all that talk yesterday and this morning, when you said you are "going to beaver away", I started laughing like a school girl! Am gladto see I am not the only one that now need exhaustion to get some sleep between ideas, just wait, when you wake up at 3 in the morning with a great idea, thats when the trouble starts, no sleep will be had after that!

mmmmmm fry up, now that sounds perfect......got no bacon, b0llocks :(

  • NLID - you want to get a fishing boat, the only good thing is that it is a Zero rated industry, meaning the VAT man always pays you, not the other way around! Apparently providing food means you get to claim every penny of VAT back, hence the good mood this week, after shelling out £1500 (inc VAT) to fix it this month, the return was higher than normal and it arrived in the bank this morning, I look forward to VAT returns! :)

lol - that is one job I couldnt do in a month of sundays!

The smell of fish makes me feel physically sick.
