small things to put in small boxes - ideas please

Hello
I have made some cute little gift boxes by sticking pictures from magazines (flowers, scenery etc) on the handy little 5cm cube cardboard boxes which Tesco value halogen bulbs come in! Problem now is what to put in them. Lip gloss/lip butter is the only thing I can think of that fits – either that or some money! Any other ideas please – especially for men?
Thanks

What kind of price range? A pair of cuff links, earrings, sweeties, a voucher folded up, ear phones, phone sock (would fold up), egg cup (maybe if it was small), napkin ring, glass charm, key ring, mini photo frame, hand warmers, fridge magnets.

Think of things that come in christmas crackers! Hope this helps.
  • Necklace, ear rings or bracelet, make up for ladies/teenage girls.

For men keyrings, chocolate, small tools like tape measures, small screwdrivers etc. I have bought small pens in the past in WH Smiths in a pack of about four. They had them in a range of colours and were quite good quality. I think they called them diary pens.

Alternatively you could make survival kits with them. The Mum's survival kit went down very well when I made them.

All the things in the Mum's survival kit would fit in a 5cm box but I haven't loked at the others, I am sure you could adapt the contents anyway if some bits were too big.

It depends on your budget and who it is for, but every christmas for close family I get tiny boxes and put a note in saying ive made a donation to a certain charity in their honour, and they get given them at the dinner table during lunch

Hi, you could get those little sample bottles of after shave. Sometimes on the freebie site or ask in places like Debenhams and Boots :)
