im shocked, I'd hardly call myself a landlord I was only renting it out whilst I took a live in job. I didn't pay the mortgage fee because I couldn't afford it. Im not making any profit out of renting the house out as I have to pay for insurance etc. I want to move to my new location and wasn't sure if I could get a new mortgage as house prices here are higher than where I used to live.

I dont thinks so, get of your high horse jealousy is such a bad thing you know?

If you call being upset that people don't follow rules and laws jealous then I'm guilty as charged.

However if we were to define stupidity as 'enticing people to commit fraud' then you would also be equally guilty ;)

I appreciate and understand your position - but it's still no excuse to deliberately flout the rules - and given you knew that you couldn't afford the mortgage fee it is obvious you were aware of the rules
