Natracare

Hi,

I've done a search and can't find any recent info on this. Does any one know where the cheapest place is to get Natracare sanitary products (or other non toxic brand)? The prices at the Ethical Superstore see ok but postage at 3.95 is a lot. I know most place charge similar. So, does anyone know of a place where they are cheap or with free postage? I'm also looking into using mooncup but need an alternative for now.

Any help appreciated.

Thrifty:)

    Hi,
Waitrose definitely sell natracare products, but I can't remember how much they cost. Good products though.

Remember....if you have to put it on a credit card, extend your overdraft or take out a loan to buy whatever it is, you probably can't afford it, as that's not your money, it's somebody else's!

If you fancy setting up or joining a local food co-op then you could buy them in bulk through Suma or similar.
Do you feel ready to try a reusable option such as the mooncup or washable pads? This saves heaps! The mooncup is about #17 and lasts years. I bought washable pads after my daughter was born (she's 9) and still have those same original ones. I think I invested about #70.
  • Hey,

A website i use alot, ecogreenstore, sell natracare products.

Obviously i dont use them myself but they've recently added them to the homepage of the website. Not sure of the cost of packaging for these but check it out!

The Natural Collection catalogue also sells them, plus lots of other ethical products, and they also sell several items in bulk to keep costs down, which can be useful for items that are needed so regularly.

I LOVE my Mooncup - they last a couple of years, not bad for a £20 outlay :-)

Try your local Oxfam, some stores stock a range of eco-friendly cleaning/toiletries products.
