OK - im training to be a beauty therapist and we use both Dermalogica and Solutions to do facials and other treatments - personally i cant use either as my skin is far too sensitive but funnily enough i can use No7 range from Boots. If you go for the dry skin stuff its great. The range has no perfume or anything like that and its alot cheeper than Dermalogica (a face scrub is about £5 and really rich moistrising creams about £12 but can be used so sparingly it lasts for ages).
To be honest when i have a little more time on my hands i will start making my own face masks and scrubs from natural products. My tutor is 30+ with two kids and two jobs and she has the glowing fresh skin of a young girl. She will only use homemade products.
If you need any advice i can do my best - please remember im in training but learning alot at the same time. If you do chose to use natural homemade products you will need to know what skin typr you are because some natural products can dry out or be too greasy or harsh ect for your skin type! Things like rosewater and aloe vera works well in these mixes. There are many more though!Mummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -

Dermalogica products are no different from loads of other chemically laden overpriced beauty industry fodder you might be interested in this link.

Dermalogica
Does the professional atmosphere of the school associated with Dermalogica mean better products? The proof is in the pudding, and this pudding is, for the most part, just Jell-O, not chocolate mousse. The company's literature expounds at length on the ingredients the products don't contain. Nevertheless, there are still many plant extracts in these products that are potentially serious irritants and problems for skin. In fact, most of these products are marred by the presence of unnecessary, irritating plant extracts. Aside from rather standard, though overpriced, cleansers, toners, and moisturizers, what is most disturbing is the number of poorly formulated sunscreens. A skin-care company that aligns itself with a medical image should know better. Are U getting enough Vitamin D in your life!?0 -

i have used the jersey company for my dermalogica products and to be honest they seem to have the most competitive prices and delivery was really quick, its also free P&P

The jerseybeautycompany is cheaper than beautyflash or courtyardclinic (by a quid or two per bottle).
I've not used jerseybeautycompany (will next time now i've seen this) but beautyflash have always been really good whenever i've ordered from them.
For as long as I've been buying dermalogica, beautyflash has almost always worked out cheaper than ebay once you factor in ebay sellers' postage.

Hiya
Dermalogica products are fantastic. I can highly recommend www.bodybeauty.org (salon is Mind & Body Beauty). They are cheapest on the web, free postage, discounts for ordering above £30 & £60 and was delivered really quickly.
One point to make after speaking to a Dermalogica at a resent beauty show, they advised making sure that the website (or salon) you purchase off is authorised!! This can be done by contacting Dermalogica. Also, any website thats sells online should have details of the salon they belong to as this is stipulated by Dermalogica rules.0
