my husband has a joint mortgage with newcastle building society, his is held with his ex wife who left the family home 15 years ago. we cannot remortgage do anything without her consent which we will not get, she lives in spian and is remarried. we are 7k in arrears and have missed payment this month. equity in home we owe 47k worth around 175k what can we do/
