Argos refund...

Hi everyone (apologies in wrong forum)
Yesterday I bought a Nokia X3 mobile phone from Argos in Tottenham Hale. However on taking it home, and testing the camera, I noticed that the pictures were very blurry, the camera quality was worse than my old Nokia's camera! Because of this, I want to get a refund, as the item is not very old, and I have not activated the sim card, so no airtime was used either. I can also return the intact, unused £10 voucher with it. Will it be easy to get a refund?

Yes. If Argos try to claim anything about their returns policy just make it clear that you are returning it because the camera is faulty0

Thanks Mike!Is the camera faulty though? or is it just poor quality?
I think its faulty. I compared the camera to my old N73 (both the X3 and N73 are 3.2mp) and its seemed very blurry compared to my N73, when I took a pic of my old phone to put in eBay it was very blurry on the phone, and it looked blurry on the computer when I uploaded it. I also compared it to my dad's C510 SE and the C510 seemed better too. I get the feeling that it is faulty, it wouldn't even compare to my really old 3220 which I had a few years back.
FYI to everyone who wants to buy the O2 X3 Nokia, there is no Xpressmusic on this model, I think it has to explicitly be the Xpressmusic X3 for the free music. However I would have kept the X3 despite this had the camera not been poor.0 -
Take it back, and explain it must be faulty.
I returned a cd player from their value range, as it played cds erratically, and often not at all. I thought that it might be because it was cheap, and my cds old.
I exchanged for a new one, and have not had a problem since, so I was right to return.0 -

errrr because I don't know which is the right board and the board guides can always move it to the correct one.
Anyway I took it to Argos and they gave me a replacement-no refund, only time will tell what happens next...not happy with them.
You might not know the right board, so you posted it in the one that specifically says it's for short-term bargains but has lots of people reading it. Bit of a selfish attitude. Don't you think board guides have better things to do than move stuff posted by lazy people ?0 -
Lesson is :
Avoid Argos
