Hi there, just wondering if anyone could clear this up for me:
Basically, I missed a payment on a loan I have with Natwest (The first time in 2 years so not a regular thing!) they couldn't take it out of my account as they usually do each month as it would have taken me over my over-draft limit. I got a letter saying that I would receive a charge for this but it didn't say how much it would be for. I went on their website and it said that Unpaid Item charges (Which is what Natwest are calling it in their letter to me) were £5 but then somewhere else on the same website it said that I could be charged up to £30 if I missed a payment on a loan.
Can someone please just clarify it for me as there is a big difference between £5 and £25 to me.
Thanks!

I think that the charge to the bank account is £5.00 for the payment being requested when you didn't have enough money and you will be charged £30.00 on the loan each time your payment is not made on time.Getting married 02.08.14

Thanks for that-it's a bit steep in my opinion but I suppose it's my own fault. (Unexpected direct debit!) Oh well.
