I've been lurking and posting on the board for a couple of months and i'm starting to get stressed about our reception and where to have it!! Its got to be in south Nottingham but i just can't find anything within our budget.
Can anyone help??

What is your budget? How many people is it for? What do you want (e.g sit down/buffet?)

ok the 'plan' is to marry as late as possible and then have bacon/sausage/quorn cobs for about 30-40 people then have a buffett up to 100 with drinking and dancing its got to be less than £1000 all in.

Hi!
Don't know if this is quite the right area for you, but we're having our reception at Nottingham Rowing Club (search for link - it wouldn't let me post it) then bringing in outside caterers. It's very close to West Bridgford registry office.

That's OK, the room is really lovely and has a separate bar area and overlooks the Trent and Trent Bridge. Also, if you're willing to have it on a day other than a Saturday the room hire is cheaper (and their corkage charge is very reasonable
)
Oh, and if you want a recommendation for a caterer lmk - ours is fab!0 -

Sorry - just noticed this! It's Tom, !!!!!! and Harriets in Mansfield - they have a couple of deli shops but do catering and their catering menus are on their website to download. Hope to help!0
