Renewing a passport

I have no idea which forum this topic would be suited to so I put it here!

My passport expires on May 25th and it is now April 5th. I won't be leaving the country until after May. My intention was to leave it until as close as possible to expiry so I get maximum usage out of the new passport.

I'm posting to ask if there is anything I should know before I renew, like an alternative who or where or when that I might be unaware of but that might benefit me.

So yeah, anything I should know before I renew it soon?

You can actually apply for a new one now, as any outstanding months are transferred onto your new one. If it you're going away in the height of the holiday season, it's a good idea to renew now, as the nearer the summer the longer it may take.:)
Prob the best place to post would be the overseas holidays and travel planning
I get paid to smell great :j

Ah ok. Thank you very much for the info. I don't suppose it's worth me posting this elsewhere now.

I'll get on with renewing it asap then.

    Cheers!
