That is shockingly low. I knew they were low, but that has surprised me.
It was horrific. I walked into the toilets, heard the door open, turned round and was punched in the eye. She had sovereign rings on and I blacked out. I woke up to being kicked in the head and I remember thinking is this the night I'm going to die? I was screaming and nobody stood nearby would help, but I couldn't blame them, she was vicious.
The police came the next morning and took photos, my eye was shut over, and my whole face swelled up. The police lost my statement and photos, luckily I had taken some on my phone. She got away with a caution, and I will never go in a toilets on my own again in a pub/club0 -
You didn't wait to see a doctor in A&E - you walked out, I take it. I'd say that you have a cat in hell's chance of getting money from the Criminal Injuries Panel.
You see your story doesn't fit your injuries. (Bruises, broken tooth and a wobbly tooth.) A person who had been kicked over 30 times would be unconscious, require care in a high dependency unit, stay overnight for observations, CAT scans etc etc.) The doctor's examination would have helped your case and confirm what you said about the assault. But you wouldn't let him/her examine you and you walked out.
The police, not an ambulance, took you to hospital - you were 'walking wounded'.
You wasted their time and left of your own accord, after insulting them. Your injuries weren't assessed then and there because you walked out of A&E. Your injuries aren't consistent with your story. The police can find nothing to corroborate your story.
If you fail to cooperate with police and medical staff then don't be surprised if you get nothing in return.0 -
Why do you assume that I walked out?0
