  • STAY WELL CLEAR!

We used FLM and were conned! After hitting financial difficulty we contacted FLM and asked them what to do regards paying them back. We were advised to pay a tiny sum of £5-£10 to move in the right direction. Without consent they then used the payment card details to clear OUT our account!!!!

We are going through citizens advice now!

Crikey, a company followed the terms and conditions you ALL signed so you are going to the cab to complain.

Everyone knew you were going to stop repaying, that's why you signed those terms (so you can't leg it without paying).

Take the lesson and start growing up, don't borrow money you can't afford, it isn't a playground game.
  • The whole point here is anyone who needs a guarantor loan has clearly not kept their obligations in the past.

You're completely wrong here, yes a lot of people haven't kept their obligations which is why they're in a mess, but i myself am thinking about taking a loan out with FLM, because my credit isn't good enough to get a bank loan. I have never missed a payment on any of my outstanding debts, i make sure i keep up to date with everything. i just got myself into a bit of bother with overdrafts and now want to clear them. Not everyone can have a squeaky clean credit file. but don't be so quick to jump on the 'it's cus you've missed all your payments' bandwagon. some people just need a break to clear them of sticky situations

Did you really just sign and drag this post up to make yourself look daft?

Not nearly as daft as actually taking out one of these ridiculous loans though.

I used the FLM loan to clear a credit card i had at 39.9% apr so there isn't that much difference in the rates and the loan will be cleared within 7 months.

I have an FLM loan with my best friend standing as

The apr i am paying is 42.6% and i am overpaying by £100 per month without penalty so the final apr will be a lot less.

What am I missing here? Don't credit cards at a lower APR than a loan allow overpayment?
