How to play

The football has been removed from three images.
David Ginola has picked where he thinks they are.
You have to figure out where they are.
Simply click on the images that follow to place the ball.
The person who is closest to David Ginola across
all three images wins €1,000!

From the T&C's I believe there are 10 x €1000 up for grabs but it's not too clear, I'll email them for clarification.

Update: received a reply back, there is indeed 10 x €1000 prizes, and after highlighting the errors in the T&C's they will be updating them soon.

Kingston Spot the Ball
Terms and Conditions
26th March 2010

1. Closing date for entries is 12am midnight on 30th September 2010.

2. To participate, entrants must visit www.rememberkingston.com/ginola and follow the "How to Play" instructions. They will be shown three images in turn of famous World Cup moments. However the ball will have been removed. They will need to indicate by placing a ball on the images, where they think David Ginola believes the ball is most likely located, complete their contact details and click "submit" to post their entry.

3. The promoter is Kingston Technology Digital Europe Ltd, a company incorporated in England and Wales with company number 6361920 whose registered office is at Kingston Court, Brooklands Close, Sunbury on Thames, Middlesex, TW16 7EP, United Kingdom.

4. The Spot the Ball competition is only open to residents of the following countries: United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Denmark, Switzerland, Slovakia, Serbia, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Norway, Finland and Sweden. The promotion is void where prohibited by local law.

5. The competition is not open to employees of the Kingston Technology Group of companies, their families, agents and/or anyone else professionally associated with this promotion. The Promoter reserves the right to verify eligibility of the winner.

6. Only one entry per person is permitted. If multiple entries / bulk entries are submitted, all entries identified as being from the same source will be disqualified as will any entry which the Promoter believes contravenes any legislation, regulation, sanction or embargo. Entries generated by script, robotic or any other automated means are prohibited and will be disqualified.

7. No purchase is necessary in order to participate.

8. The entrant whose ball placement most closely matches David Ginola’s based on the average distance across the three images will be the winner. In the event of a tie, the promoter will issue a skill based tie-breaker to determine the winner.

9. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not received or late, lost, illegible, incomplete or incorrectly submitted entries. Proof of submission will not be accepted as proof of receipt. No paper entries will be accepted.

10. There are ten prizes of 1,000 Euros which will be sent to the winner in the form of a cheque. If the winner wishes this to be converted into a different currency, this must be advised to Kingston Technology by the winner when they are contacted. The prize will be converted into the currency of the winner’s choice at the prevailing tourist exchange rate published in HSBC banks at 12 pm noon (GMT) on the 15 October 2010.

11. Entrants must be aged 18 or over and a permanent resident in a participating country listed above.

12. There is no alternative to the prize stated and the prize is non transferable.

13. The winner will be notified within 14 days of the closing date, by email and the winner’s cheque will be despatched within 14 days of notification. If the prize is unclaimed after reasonable efforts have been made to contact the winner, the Promoter will be entitled to dispose of the prize as it sees fit without any liability to the winner for having done so.

14. Entrants accept that, if they win, the Promoter will have the right, without additional payment or permission, to use their name, age, town of residence and likeness for the purposes of announcing the winner and for related promotional purposes.

15. The winner’s name can be obtained by sending an email to [eu_marcom@kingston-technology.com] within 30 days of the close of the competition or by visiting www.rememberkingston.com where the winner’s name will be published.

16. The winner will be responsible for any taxation liability which may arise in respect of the prize and therefore the winner should check their own tax position.
