Mixed month for me

I started July with lots of good intentions but didn't do as well as I'd hoped but in some ways it was a good month:
1. eBay selling- items didn't sell for very much. After all the time I spent photographing, listing + queueing in the post office it wasn't worth the effort.
2. Amazon selling- listed 12 books and only 2 sold in July. I'll review the prices this week and list some more books to hopefully boost my proceeds.
3. Had a REALLY expensive month with my pregnancy. Paid for 2 private scans + blood tests as cannot get them from my NHS hospital. I also outgrew every item of clothing I own, even with the help of safety pins. Thank goodness the sales were on and I picked up a few maternity bargains. I also picked up a couple of pieces on eBay. Maternity clothes are sooo expensive!!! It's going to be second hand or sale stuff for me all the way...
4. Unnecessary shopping habits- well, I seem to have cracked this one. I had a peep into an LK Bennet outlet shop the other day and fell in love with a pair of gold ballet pumps and a pair of silver flip flops. Even though they were bargain prices I put them down and walked out...believe me, this is a big improvement.
5. Remortgaged and my monthly payments have gone down by £150 a month.
6. The best news is that I got an unexpected payrise of £4.4K which obviously I was absolutely thrilled with. I promise you all faithfully that I'm going to put every penny towards paying off my debt.
So, not the best month as my debt hasn't reduced by much but not the worst month either.

Oh, I took on an extra 2 departments back in February and they said they couldn't give me a pay rise then but would look at it "later in the year". And I really didn't expect them to come up with anything.
PS You can cover my maternity leave in February if you want!Debt at highest May 2006: £27,472.24
