Thanks. I can see that being a real possibility too, and if I'm honest one we haven't considered enough. We prefer the security of a fixed deal, but most of the BTL's I've seen are 2 year fixes at most and who knows what will happen to rates in 2 years.
I guess there is a fine line between "speculate to accumulate" and real risk.0 -

A very fine line, timing is so very important. Particularly if you are looking at a 25 year investment period.0
