Couldn't see this so apologies if I have duplicated!

I have spent:

£0.44 on potatoes
£2.00 on return bus fare

I marched into Tescos to get the potatoes, paid and marched out again with no distractions.

I'm getting good at this....
Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
Sainsburys Loan: Cleared July 2010
Credit cards: AMEX Airmiles Card: direct debit set to clear balance monthly

    I've had a brilliant day.

My washing line snapped in 2 places this morning (clothes had to be re washed :( ) so had to buy a new line. Got one for £1 from the pound shop :j

Bought 5 muller light toffee yoghurts (my treat, following slimming world diet and these are sin free!) and some quorn sausages in iceland to top up yesterdays bargain shop at lidl (1 weeks food for 2 adults and 2 toddlers cost £33).

So today I've spent £4.50 on essentials.

Did also have a driving lesson, so I guess that counts? Another £20.

Better than my days pre-moneysaving though.

So did I :( Don't get paid for being off sick either, so it's more costly than if I'd gone in and bought lunch :(

£9.10 on groceries which I'm not proud of but I will get back on track with menu and ingredient planning very soon and stop relying on the corner shop for expensive top-ups.

£2,307 ordering a new condensing boiler (90%+ efficient) to replace 18 year old standard boiler (45% efficient). Eventual aim: to reduce current £90/month gas bill. Plus spent £16 in Wilko on low energy lightbulbs (half the cost of those in B&Q!). Don't intend to move in the next few years so, overall, I reckon I'm a saver?!
