I'm watching some Hama Beads on ebay but was just wondering if anyone's seen any in any shops and how much they were. Also if you know roughly how many come in the box that would be helpful

The Ikea version is compatible with the Hama brand, but about 1/4 of the price. A huge container is under £10

I've seen those, a big plastic tub for £4.99. Unfortunately our nearest Ikea is about an hour and a half away, and would cost me about a tenner to get there I used to live about ten minutes away as well, wish I'd picked up a tub then!
