Morrisons Easter Meal Deal - Beef

Just finished Sunday dinner, cooked the Beef from Morrisons in this week-ends meal deal. What a complete waste of money, it was the worst piece of beef I have ever "tried" to eat, it was impossible, full of gristle!! It looked really lean but its all had to be thrown away, not really moneysaving!!! Has anyone else had trouble?

We had the pork for lunch today that was on the last offer (mother's day) for £3. It was lovely!

    I've been Money Tipped!
No problems with my Morrison's beef joint either although I did pot roast it to make sure it didn't shrink.

I'd be inclined to take it back to the store tomorrow and politely complain. I've always found them very apologetic and accommodating if you have a problem with anything they sell.

It's disappointing when you've put effort into producing a nice meal and it doesn't do one's pride as a cook much good either! Hope Morrison's make it up to you handsomely.

Yep we had the beef yesterday and it was lovely! MIL was very impressed with my culinary skills. Its the 1st time I've ever cooked beef like that coz it usually too expensive, I cooked it on gas 4 for an hour and half and it couldn't have been better!! I'm hoping they have some left tomorrow!

I find Morrisons meat is the best out of all the main supermarkets, not sure its because they own all the slaughterhouses so have a better control on quality.
