Credit Card or Loan...

I'd be very cautious getting credit for cars and do some research on the cars depreciation. Cars drop in value so rapidly its almost sickening, you just dont wanna be in a position after 2 years where you are bored of and stuck with a car worth less than you have owing on it.
Saying that if youve made up your mind i'd go for a loan. Credit cards are evil if you go slightly off. Ofcourse if you can be really good and get 1 with a low rate and just pay it off fast you'll be better off.
My advice, buy a banger(pref something german) with full mot and tax, drive it till it dies(probably 250k) then buy another. Wont do much for your street cred but will do your wallet a pile of good:D0 -
Its a Peugeot 207CC what i want, 2007 year ish. I saw one in the garage the other day within my budget but that was a sport version and think the GT one was better but just waiting/looking around for one of them. The offer is on till end april so just hope they find or get one within my budget.
With the offer i dont think they will do as much of a deal tho thats why i was looking around too.
Do they usually come with full 1 yrs MOT and Tax? Will have to ask about that. - I get free tax (disabled) so at least will be able to cash that in too!Make £10 a day Challenge June - £1700 -
If you want full tax and mot it will come with it. Just make sure they know that. Just make that a term of the sale. If someone came along and said I will buy this £10k car only if you spend £160 on mot and tax they'd be stupid to lose the sale on that, to be honest i'd be suprised if a car of that value didnt come with both as standard. Maybe worth doing some research and getting some advice as its a lot of money if something went wrong(where using a credit card comes in handy, as i'm pretty sure your purchase is protected)Its a Peugeot 207CC what i want, 2007 year ish.
