I can't watch You tube, iPlayer or anything similar. I get a message saying 'Install Adobe Flash Player.' When I click to install, it goes through the procedure then ends by saying if it's downloaded 'You'll be able to see this movie.' All I can then see is a white square with a red cross in the corner.
I've tried many times and the same thing keeps happening. Please advise on how to download it successfully.

You normally have to uninstall any old versions before installing a new one. Download the uninstaller from the Adobe site and run it. Reboot your pc then install again.0

This might be just a dump thing, but you do realise that you'll have to run the downloaded software for it to be installed. Just the first thing that popped into my mind.
