Advice Needed - Should I Surrender my Endowment Mortgage?

I have an endowment mortgage with exactly 4 years left to run. The current surrender value of the endowment is £16,208. I only owe £16,246 on the mortgage. The early repayment penalty is £487. Is it a no-brainer that I pay off the mortgage now, or are there any advantages in keeping a mortgage, such as tax benefits? If I keep the endowment until the end of its term there is the possibility of a final bonus, but nothing is guaranteed. Any advice would be gratefully received. Thank you.
