I wasn't aware of NCT in Northern Ireland lol
I usually stick to gumtree and ebay. My child is 4 months now, and I'm finally moving him from his moses basket in the next month. I got it new on ebay for £5 and I bought a new mattress for £5. He was premature so got extra use out of it being small but was a great bargin all the same.
Every so often Amazon deal of the day is good for baby things, and have you registered with the likes of mothercare and boots, they give you huge money off vouchers.

Check out freegle and freecycle. Ask friends also as many people are really glad to find someone who can use their no longer needed baby items. You often get items that still have the labels on them as they never got round to using them. Try netmums although some items can be quite expensive ( i think). Ebay can be really good, got an almost new car seat for .99pIn giving

Thanks people, I managed to find out from netmums that the sale is happening on 23rd May at 10.30am (just incase anyone is interested).
I'm mainly looking out for a pram/carseat but at the sametime I'm not overly concerned as my sister has offered to buy it for us (she has lots of money!!).
My daughter is 4.5yrs old now so still have some stuff left over but we know this one is a boy so maybe need to get a couple of things....really need to sort out what is in the loft/mums garage/sisters house and gather up all the hand me downs we've been promised from people!0 -
Whereabouts is it? Can anyone come along and sell? I have TONNES of baby stuff to sell.0

Sorry just went back to check on netmums.....its 22nd May (not 23rd, I blame baby brain!)
Apparently held in a Church on the Ormeau Road near the Co-op??
I'm getting all this from netmums noticeboard so I hope it's reliable. Not sure who or how you sell at it but I've been clearing all day to do a boot sale and get some money for baby things!:D0 -

Nearly New Sales
We hold a Nearly New Sale each year, where you can get some great bargains, and sell your unwanted children’s toys and clothes and help support the NCT too!
We sell newborn and children’s clothes, maternity wear, toys and equipment (such as prams and cots).
We charge a small entrance fee, which helps support the work of the branch.
Anyone can sell items at the sale (you do not have to be a member of the NCT), and each item sold raises money for yourself and the National Childbirth Trust, each seller may bring 50 items of clothes.
Just read that on their site, hope that helps! It also says all sellers need to register first! My best friend is due in June shall take her along to this!- Winners make things happen, losers let things happen -:j0 -
Hi
TK max is good too for cheap baby stuff.
Iv been to couple of NCT sales and you have to get there super early to get the bargins. TBH I would never use second hand carseat as you dont kow the history and the saftey technology is moving so quickly - def take your sister up on the offer. You could have a fab girly day out shopping for prams.0
