Velvet loo roll @ £1!

4 velvet quilted loo rolls as well as others were £1 in my local asda on roll back! What a bargain!

This was in bristol but as it was on roll back im guessing its nationwide!

That is good - I remember when Asda was promising 'Rolled back to stay back' as a new policy but that seems to have gone by the way side and I am sure we will see these roll back forwards again like many of the recent roll backs which have rolled back only to roll forward past where they were in the first place.

I will stock up on these before the go back up in price.

oh dont get me started on that £1 velvet loo roll in asda! we bought it last week, we never buy 'luxury' normally, just value! Anyway, the velvet loo roll blocked our toilet, and friday night i spent about half an hour with two bin bags over my arm, unblocking the bog... never again!!

I must admit that if I owned a shop and someone came in saying that they used coupons to wipe their a**e I would give them free toilet roll as well.

Look on the bright side - this is so thick there's far less chance of putting your finger through it.

And costco have triple velvet non quilted for 24.93p per roll however you have to buy 40 rolls

My local Asda have the posters and SEL advertising this, but shelves are empty - will have to check another branch, or hope they get another delivery before the roll-back ends
