Help needed please......Endeavour???

I have got a loan with Endeavour Personal Finanance - The company from hell!!!

Me and my ex-husband took out a loan in 2004 for 19,300. We were advised we had to take out PPI which was £5000. They didn't tell us that it would be added to the account and interest charged on it we have only just found that out. Me and my ex split up in October 2004 and he stayed in the property agreeing to pay the loan and mortgage with the idea i would sign it over to him.

He however stopped paying it in April 2005. Endeavour knew we had split up and had new correspondance details for me however never got in contact to say payments had been missed despite me asking for copies of any correspondance. The situation was so bad that legal proceeds had commenced. There is alot to explain so i will put it briefly, the solicitors were given my wrong address by Endeavour therefore sent details to old address. I contacted them and gave them my new address however they sent a letter advising me of a court date to the wrong address which i never received therefore missing an important court date. I have now sold the property and paid of 13,000 but we still have a balance of 12,000. I am trying to get the PPI cancelled and some refund back from that but we have also been charged £234 in telephone calls and letters - does the same apply as banks for loan companies can some of this be claimed back.

I am also in a position where i can't pay, not becuase i haven't got the money, i have got £275 to pay this month but when i rang them they told me to go to HSBC bank to pay. HSBC told me i couldn't pay unless i paid a £5 fee. i know this only sounds small but over the 5 years thats £300. My bank wont let me have a Standing Order as i can only have a cash card because of the financial mess my ex has got us in. I have asked Endeavour to set up a Direct Debit but they are refusing. How am i suppose to pay. Can they refuse a DD? Please help i am getting stressed.

I am 8 weeks pregnant and want to enjoy it not feel so stressed about this all the time. Hope you can help.

Thanks

What are the £234? Are these court awarded fees?

The major problem that you will face is the fact that it has gone to court and you have to been liable for the debt. You really need to speak to your solicitor or possibly the CAB to find out what options you have of appealing against the courts decision.
