Advice for Car Loans - Bad Credit

Hi,

I've been unemployed for a while, but have finally been offered a decent job, but its 20 miles away, in the country, and theres no buses or trains that will get me there on time to start.

I have bad credit from about 7 years ago, which I am paying off slowly (never missed a payment), and I am a home owner (who's never missed a mortgage payment).

My new salary will allow me to buy a car after the first 2 months.

All I need is a company who will give me a short term loan, ideally this week, that will allow me to get a cheap car and cover the petrol for the first few weeks!

Can I find one?! No. They all turn me down due to the adverse credit (despite the evidence that I am paying it as agreed with the companies)

Does anyone know a loan company who would help out despite the bad credit?

I'm at my wits end here, as I really dont want to be on the dole any longer, but if I cant find transport, I cant work. Arghhhh!!!

Thank you
